Niches and habitats 10/15/18

Today we learned about habitats and niches. A habitat is a place where an organism lives. Like the forest a swamp and so on. A niche Is an organisms role in its ecosystem. We watched a video about yellow stone park and its wolves. Yellow stone park didn’t allow wolves into the park until 1994. people viewed wolves as a scary, unruly and mean animals because they kill. So, yellow stone stopped letting wolves in. When that happened the deer and all of the other animals who eat plants grazed away all of the vegetation and the animals wanted greens back but simply couldn’t find any.

yellow stone started letting wolves in and the whole ecosystem and even geographical stuff started to change just because the added another niche to their ecosystem. here’s this video and some of my questions:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=ysa5OBhXz-Q

My questions: Why did they think wolves were going to ruin everything? Who decided that they were going to add wolves back in? How did they get the wolves in?
