How the 4 Ocean project started was two men Andrew, and Alex took a trip to Bali, Indonesia. They were shocked by all the plastic in the ocean. When they went to a small fish town, the boats were having to push aside trash. After that experience the two surfers decided they needed to do something and that’s when 4ocean was created. The 4 Ocean bracelet is made out of recycled plastic and all profits go to cleaning the ocean.

How does 4 Ocean clean? 4Ocean started cleaning the ocean with hiring people. Eventually once the workers collect enough plastic to make bracelets Andrew and Alex sent the plastic off to a factory to be melted down and turned into bracelets. How are the workers payed? The workers are payed using the bracelet profits. Now, usually bracelets are not enough to make a living on, these bracelets cost 20 dollars. I know what your thinking; 20 dollars? Thats way too much. But, buying a bracelet is like a donation to help the oceans.
